Red Wines of Southern France

The red wines of Southern France have an amazing array of appellations, producers and grape varieties. Quality is very high and there is good value readily available. The bedrock of our range come from Paul Boutinot’s Louis Alexandre from Vaucluse and the wonderful value to be found at the Domaine de Pellehaut in Gascogny. The Languedoc has long been a source of excellent wine and the Domaine La Croix Gratiot, Domaine du Poujol and La Sauvageonne continue in this tradition. In the Cotes du Roussillon, Chateau St Roch produces stunning wine from old vine Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, whilst top class, meaty Madiran comes is made at Chateau Boucasse and Domaine Berthoumieu. Our Bandol is sourced from the highly regarded Domaine Lafron-Veyrolles and the Domaine de Rimauresq in on top form in Provence.
