Staete Landt

Staete Landt is a reference to the great Dutch explorer Abel Tasman. This is a wonderful, ripe, oily, fat example with gooseberry and passion fruit.

We firmly believe in the ability of New Zealand to produce high class Riesling.this Auslese has 70 grams per litre of residual sugar and perfect balance of ripe fruit and honeyed acidity.

This is a beautifully crafted and most delicious Chardonnay from a 52ha site in Marlborough. Wonderfully integrated fruit and wood on the nose with an excellent palate of unctuous citrus fruit and wood.

This is really wonderful full flavoured yet elegant viognier from Marlborough. A cool fermentation with 8 months on lees with honeyed peach notes on nose and palate. The best New World Viognier.

The aim of Staete Landt is to produce wines of elegance and restraint with a nod to the Old World. This Syrah meets all those ambitions with fine black fruits on nose and palate and a gamey, rustic edge.
