This is one of the best Corbieres weve tasted. From an estate bought by Gerard Bertrands Father George in the 1970s, the wine is a blend of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache and Mouvedre. Hand picked and with 8 months in Barrique, it displays deep, rich fruit with soft spice and a long, elegant finish. A truly superb wine. -

This Rivesaltes Vin Doux Naturel is a bottle aged 2002 vintage Grande Reserve. 100% Grenache Noir and with 25 years in bottle, it displays the development and tastes that you only find with extended bottle aging. Soft and smooth, this wine has a perfect balance between subtle notes of dried fruit, figs and prunes, with creamy, fresh, red fruit. Drinking superbly now, it is the perfect accompanyment to cheeses. A truly fantastic wine! -
