Our house Champagne. A really delicious, 100% Pinot Noir Champagne from the Southern most district of the Aube. Ripe, almost tropical fruit with a creamy mousse.

Produced from grapes from 50 to 60 different crus with emphasise on Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier creating an elegant and fruit forward champagne, with a rich palate and a fine, lingering finish.

This fourth growth wine is known for its charm and finesse. Allied to the great 2009 vintage results in a fine, charming Claret with layers of dense fruit.

The Montez family produces fine Cote Rotie from the Cote Blonde. Syrah and Viognier cofermented produces a brilliant, fragrance, with a rich, ripe, dark palate of succulent, savoury fruit.

Hine has a much publised connection with Beamisnter and we stock three of their most recognisable blends. Thomas Hine married the daughter of a gentleman who owned a Cognac House in Jarnac. By 1817 the company was renamed Thomas Hine & Company. VSOP status requires that the the contents must have spent at least four years in cask although in reality many of the brandies will be considerably older.

Distilled five times from a blend of 95% Ugni Blanc grown in Cognac and 5% Mauzac Blanc grown in the Southern French area of Tarn. The two grapes are picked when frozen and distilled separately four times before being cominbed in a traditional pot still for the final distilation. The use of frozen grapes and cold fermentation preserves the natural zestinest of the grapes in the final product. More prevalently used in mixing than as a shooting vodka, idael in wine and champagne based cocktails.
