2014 was a superb vintage for red Burgundy and winemaker Yves Confuron of Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot is an expert at exploiting the conditions to create Pinot Noir that express terroir with style and elegance.

It is felt that the Clos Du Cromin vineyard produces wines with more finesse than than the usual flesher style of Meursault. This is thought to be due to the higher limestone content of the vineyard. Patrick Javillier has been producing top quality wine in Meursault for many years and this 2011 is a perfect example of the quality that is achievable.

Alex Gambal continues to create an excellent name for himself with fantastic wines. His Chassagne Montrachet is an outstanding example of the depth, weight and finesse that Burgundy is known for.

This Volnay from Domaine Henri Boillot is made from grapes selected from five different Premier Cru vineyards across the Cote De Beaune. 100% Pinot Noir aged in 25% new oak.

A truly exceptional wine from a great vintage in Burgundy. An fine textured, crisp, mineral palate of citrus zest, apple blossom and vanilla oak, with a rich, oily finish.

Krohn make exceptioanl Ports and have been producing Vintage Port since 1957 and the 2003 Krohn Vinatge Port was a Gold medal winner. The 2003 has been one of the second highest scoring vintages since the legendary 1948 vintage and equal to the great 1963 vintage. A hot year across Europe producing rich, powerful Ports that will live on for many decades. Weise & Krohn are now owned by the Taylor Fladgate partnership.

Chateau Langoa-Barton is a superb Third Cru Chateau from Saint-Julien. From the 2011 vintage, underated as it was over-shadowed by the two previous vintages it offers great value. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine is starting to drink but will improve over many more years.

From Geeling, a very fine wine. Oak fermented with battonage. Delicious ripe fruit on nose and palate, tropical notes and stunning texture.

Champs Canet is a Premier Cru vineyard located in Puligny-Montrachet. Drinking fantastically now this is the third vintage from this up and coming producer.
